Topic: Anyone else had this... Posted: 08 February 2009 at 10:11pm |
i need some advice ladies.
i ovulated and bd like a day after i tested(dont ask me why-just one of those busy times and well yeah)
anyway back to the point. a week later i start spotting, im thinking it could be AF, but then again why would it be a week after ovulate and it was real light spotting and lasted 3days.
I have to say during the "AF" period i had the weirdest cravings and still do. Am i going crazy?

Could it be implantation bleeding? timing sounds about right I think... How long is your luteal phase normally?

freckle i would not have a clue on the phase thing hey-since i have PCOS so nothing is regular with me.
loulee-now i really have my fingers crossed. It was just really random as it was not the normal length of AF and did not have the same cramps and stuff.
O well i guess time will tell

Most people have about a 14 day luteal phase - this part of the cycle doesn't change. It's the first part from start from AF to Ov that can vary hugely... I have really irregular cycles too and it makes it damn hard to know what is going on eh!!
Fingers crossed it was implantation bleeding!!

Hi alexbabe, I too have PCOS and for the last 3 AFs, I have spotted a week before AF comes. It tends to come and go so you might be experiencing something similar. I hope not though, bring on the BFP!

Nah, I started spotting about 4 days ago and AF arrived last night. The good news today is my first day on clomid. Fingers crossed for you, though hun! When do you test?
