I woke up to pee at 6am (as you do) and when I got back into bed I noticed some very faint crampy type things. I knew what they were, but I didn't believe it. At 7.30am I told DP I thought I was in labour, rang midwife at 9 I think (I didn't want to be rude and call earlier lol) by 2pm it was getting a bit much for me so headed to the hospital, had and epi at 4.30pm (8cms dilated so probably very last minute, kinda wish I'd held out) and things slowed down from there. The epi slowed the contractions down so much I was put on a synto drip to speed them up and he still wasn't born until 11.57pm!
My waters didn't break on their own, my midwife did it at 7 1/2 cms. They would have broken eventually though I'm sure

Woke with contractions 5mins apart at 5am on the Wednesday. Went to hospital after biggest loser at 6pm - arrived there at 6:30pm. Looking back now, if i could handle contractions through biggest loser and put off going because i didn't want to miss it i could have stayed home for longer. I delivered her at 3:46pm on the Thursday.

DS1:
Midnight Sunday...well technically guess it was Monday needed a wee so got up and had blood. Didn't know it was a show at the time so rang hospital and they told us to come in as they were almost 45 minutes away. 1st contraction about 12:30am, waters broke about 2:10am which is when they said labour was 'established'. He was born at 5:26am Monday morning
DS2:
Woken from a dead sleep by a contraction at 5:45am to find a show, he was born at home, in water at 7:56am.
