Hi,

I am so new to this website so unsure if anyone has already asked but I have a almost 6 month old who is quite tall. He's almost 9kg and im looking into the next carseat for him after capsule. Today my family found one in Farmers. It was the Jolly Jumper Colorado harnessed boOster which is 9kg-36kg. I want one that will last as he's tall so grows very quickly. It's a front facing so unsure whether it's a gooD one or not. If anyone has any reviews etc on this please let me know.

First time mum so don't know enough about any of this haha

Thanks in advance :)

In my opinion, 6 months is waaaaaay too young to be forward facing.  Plunket advocate for 2 years, but even 1 year is a lot better than 6 months old.  his head will still be far too heavy fr his body and spine to cope with the forces of an accident.  If you can't afford to buy another rear facing one that will fit him til at least 1, if not 2 and beyond, perhaps see what seats you can hire in the meantime until; you save enough money.  you will also need to check that the seat fits your vehicle properly, which is tricky when you buy from a place like Farmers.

I can afford to buy one for him, people had just suggested buying this one as it last longer with the way he's growing. Will look at the convertibles from other places like baby factory.

Thanks heaps for your advice :)
