how old was your first child when you conceived number two?
Im not pregnant but get nervous when DP and i do have 'special cuddles' that i will conceive and i dont want to yet. I cant be on the depo or pill as i react to them and end up in hospital and cant afford an IUD or the chip so its down to just condoms (dr also doesn't agree with an IUD at my age - just 20).
I didn't know where else to put this

why cant you get the normal IUD? Im getting mine put in today and i am only 20years old, nothing was mentioned about my age. It is only costing us for the appointment at family planning - will let you know how much that is once we get home if you like.
Kiara was conceived when henry was 7months old and i was on the minipill and breastfeeding every 3hours night and day.

I'm 25 and I can't have an iud since I've had an ectopic I'm not allowed to have an iud ever so I'd check with your doc to make sure age is the only factor they had for saying no

well it turned out to be free as im under 25. I would check that the only reason you cant have it is because of your age. Although the dr at FP did a very thorough background info on me as well so might be worth looking into.

Our daughter was about 20 months when I conceived, so she will be about 2 and a half when baby is born, which we think is quite a good age gap
As for the contraception thing, we could only use condoms as well but I had a bad birth which left me with scar tissue (had to have op later on), so they HURT! Don't know how you are with them, but we ended up using the natural fertility method, where you count your cycle and only use contraception on the days where you might conceive. Just a suggestion

Our first daughter was 5mths old when i found out i was pregnant again... but was planned lol.
I went through FP for my IUD (copper one) and from memory i think all up it cost around $60 (had to have swabs and smear before they would put it in, IUD only cost $5 and $25 to insert). I loved my IUD until it fell out and i didnt know and got pregnant straight away.

Jack was 10 months I think, planned. We'd been trying for a while though.
I have a mirena and I've just turned 24. Unless you have other medical conditions, they usually only don't recommend for people before they have kids.
