Just wondering if scans were cheaper if you had community services cards, or is $50 at the subsidised rate the cheapest it gets... I have paid from $150 to $50 at previous scans.

I'm not sure to be honest. I've only ever paid $50 for my scans. They both were at St Georges in 2008.

CMI do $30 ones with csc but then you have to pay extra if you want pictures so ends up being $40

everywhere else is $50 but I found the place at st georges where better and more professional and didnt hurt as much (the guy I got at cmi actually bruised me twice! thats how hard he was pushing!)

I had one who was a bit rough! Well Keira was moving around non stop (must of been those frozen cokes I craved!) but she started banging like you do when your mouse won't work for your computer haha, geeeeez.

I guess $50 isn't much considering the joy of seeing your wee one really is it

Yip, $50 is standard in ChCh although if you have medical insurance they pay back $40 of it which is great as I had to ave about 5 scans with my last preg.

They do? Bugger wish I'd know that, we had 14 scans with Jack's pregnancy (although only paid for 9 of them, but still!)
