Hi there, I'm not anymore obviously but only went 3 days over with Jack. It's true when they say baby will come when they're ready, but there also lots of things you can try just for the hell of it if you want to, like EPO, sex ( not for some obviously), walking, eating lots of pineapple etc. etc.
Good luck anyway!

I was over due by 10 days with my son...i was handling being overdue alright i just didn't like been asked everyday..have you got a baby yet...blah blah blah....
I was told to insert primrose oil up there to help soften things up, go for a bumpy ride in the car - dirt roads, walk lots, have sex but i think you have to do that more than a few times for it to work, Nipple stimulation and drink Raspberry leaf tea....
Good luck!

I went into labour at 38 weeks naturally and my baby was posterior and continued to be posterior the whole way through labour!
My advice is get down on your hands and knees to get baby to turn, you really want to get your baby to turn, trust me!!!!!
As for starting labour, I walked a million miles from 37 weeks and went into labour the following week!
Best of luck everyone waiting to go into labour!!

Big hugs! I was 15 days overdue with Daniel - induced at 11 days over but it still took 4 more days for him to arrive!
I don't have many tips - I went completely mad in the days I was overdue. I ate lots of bad food and didn't care; watched lots of DVDs (got out series of TV programs I hadn't seen before); knitted some baby hats; rang DH lots in tears of frustration; spent AGES on Oh Baby reading posts from all the people who had had babies (trying not be be envious and bitter, but that didn't work, I still felt that way!); tried to read but couldn't concentrate ....
I hope it all happens for you really really soon.

As for the posterior thing, like peachy said you REALLY want baby to turn! I birthed a posterior baby and went into labour naturally (but had regular contractions for 2 weeks before my waters broke!) so they are usually longer, but I had no idea it meant possibly not starting on its own? Interesting.
And it's not all that bad, just take the epidural I gave birth to the back of DS's neck cos he was posterior and turned but at the end of the day you just want that baby out and it doesn't really matter how it happens.
Oh, as for the overdue thing, I put 3 capsules of EPO orally and 4 (pricked) vaginally for 3 days before DS was born. DH and I also had sex in awkward positions to make baby want out lol (sorry TMI!)

Yeah posterier labour sucks ass!!! Daniel was naughty and was anterior at my last MW visit and MW thinks he turned in labour to be posterior as my contractions really really changed where they hurt the most. Swimming is a relaxing way to get bubs to turn.

I was 8 days over, i tried everything (except sex) but she came when it suited her , funny , she still does ....
My friend was 14 days over, and annoyingly calm about it , i was more anxious than her ( i was also bored and wanted a new toy to play with )

*freaked out at all the bad vibes 4 posterior labours* im trying real hard to turn her, spending most of my day on my knees and stuff. it doesnt FEEL like its worked but im guessing itd take longer than 3 days.
today i heard eating fresh pineapple helps start labour- no idea why!

I was 9 days over - nothing works unless they are ready! but yes, i went a bit mad, however did notice the phone calls and texts dropped off after a week!
also had a posterior baby, and tried hands and knees to no avail! my MW said almost all babies are posterior at some stage, and just not to worry about it - as soon as i stopped even thinking about it, she turned around (albeit completing a 360+ turn, which no doubt contributed to the corfd being wrapped twice around her neck lol!) I would keep making sure you are sitting leaning forward, but not to stress too much - most posterior babies turn before or during labour.
