Hi Ladies,

Ive just found out Im 6weeks pregnant with my 2nd child however, Im in a different town to my last one and need some references for midwives.

I have no idea where to start... such as who is a great one??

Any help appreciated. Thanks so much!

I booked mine at 5 weeks.Best to get in early as possible as you'd be surprised how quickly they book up.

i recomment therese james..........i cannot speak more highly of her.........i had so many complicatins with the first labour and she saved my ar..se......and i had problenms with 2nd pregs and she pushed for only the best care for me..........luv her like a mother .......good luck

I was with Angela Hindman and Margaret Spencer (team) from Ab Fab Midwives.
I also highly recommend them!! they were just great!

They are based in Morrinsville but have a office at Waterford (i used to meet them there for checkups)

ow and they can do births at: waterford, riverridge and waikato hospital.

Oh Congrats!

I recommend Clare Hutchinson
She's at The Midwife Centre next to River Ridge Birthing Unit.

She is really nice, funny and very knowledgable on a lot of subjects.
