Topic: where can i buy a hobby horse? Posted: 10 January 2007 at 2:34pm |
Does anyone know where i cant buy a hobby horses, preferably in the south island but at this stage I will consider north island too. Kobe would absolutely love one, he pretends everything is a horse he is riding but i can not find one anywhere. There dont really seem to be many on trade me either and if they are then the person wont send it south.

Yep tried the warehouse, toy world, kmart, farmers, and any other toy type shop i come across and they just arent around. I know i used to see them when I wasnt actually lookign for one.
Dont worry Roskana, i had no idea what they were called, I was asking all the shop people for a horse with a stick thing until someone kindly told me they had a name!

Or perhaps you could get onto your local Warehouse or K-Mart and see if they are only available in the Nth Isl and can be sent down for you? Otherwise do you know anyone handy with wood because surely they wouldn't be too difficult to make?

They have had them in store not sure where you live but, if there is one close to you they might be able to help they often stock older style wooden toy's you can also buy online if you need too.

Yes they have some very cool store's. If you go in and see them they will be able to look at getting one in maybe if another store has one or something. They are really good liek that. They are one of the only shop's that stock great wooden toy's. Good luck hope they can help.

Try calling craftworld - I am sure they have at least one branch in the south island, I know they have them in Alkd, so might be able to sort something out.
Also some hardware shhops sell them (random, I know), so amybe try calling some of them?
