im with Howard. he is crude vial and disgusting so you either love him or hate him. i think he's great. he delivered me when he was a reg which is a bit scary but was also my sisters specialist and delivered her 2 kids. he found heaps of problems with me and my sis that had gone undiagnosed even though i had exploratory surgery. and i get scans every 2 weeks which i love! lol

I've had Howard and didn't like him at all.  He had a pretty harsh bedside manner, although that was 8-9 years ago so perhaps he has mellowed a bit now?

Just goes to show how different we all are in our needs with our LMC!

My mw is in J'ville although I might try to find someone in Tawa...anyone have any recommendations for mw's out that way?

Lurking...

I've heard really great things about Barton! And Howard is great value. I think he's hilarious!!! He also delivered me (I'm 25) and he happened to deliver Ashlee 2 years ago too so I thought that was pretty cool. I remember telling him in the OR that he delivered me and he joked and said 'that's it, I need to retire' and went to take off his gloves and leave hahaha! Him and DH talked rugby I think while performing my c-section!

There is Kapiti Midwifes who a friend of mine used and she was happy with them. I wish I had of gone with them now as I'm unhappy with who I'm with. Not the midwifes just the horrid location and premises.

I've got 1 week & 4 days until my 12 week scan It's been hell waiting! Has anyone else got the 12 week scan booked in or have had it already?
