LOL nope, I'm the opposite - love my wine but the smell of it grosses me out at the moment.
My friend was telling me the other day - her sister loved the smell of PETROL while she was pregant .. so you could be craving worse things I guess

I didn't drink much either but yes, beer smells SO good now! Red wine is also very tempting and I haven't been able to have that for years due to an allergy.
When my mum was preggy the dr told her to have a glass of stout (gross black beer) every evening! She loved it
How times have changed lol

I had major cravings for Merlot. Never really liked red wine. Had a small glass and the craving has never come back. I bought one of those tiny bottles and the rest went down the sink.
A good friend of mine had the exact same thing you're having. She had about 3 sips of a light beer and it took care of the craving. She's never wanted one since.

My friend Lisa is a vegetarian and doesn't drink, when she was pregnant with Harry, her DH came down to the kitchen in the middle of the night to find her standing in front of the fridge door with a lamb shank and a bottle of stout in hand and she was in heaven. I thin she was about 8 months along at that point.

OMG you have never had alcohol? Good on you!!
Well the other day I really wanted a shandy; which I hardly ever drink when not pregnant anyway. And normally I hardly drink either.
I wouldn't drink while pregnant as studies are inconclusive as to how or when the FAS can occur. It can be at any number of weeks pregnant, and also with any amount of alcohol...a glass or a binge. I'd rather just wait.
Oh and the person who mentioned she knows someone who likes the smell of petrol....a friend of mine was pregnant a few years ago and lived a couple km's down the road from the servo and she could smell the petrol and hated it.
And my old neighbour loved the smell of diesel. When her hubby got home from work in the truck she'd hide in the loo smelling the fumes coming in from outside lol...she went on to have a nearly 12lb baby!
