Thanks Mel- although DP and I haven't had special cuddles for about 6 weeks now, which is why i'm a little worried about the spotting cos I *know* it's not that!

Sorry, I wanted to reply earlier but my computer (and my kids!) was having a mental.
I bled for a week between 8-9 weeks, then for 2 weeks between 12-14 weeks, scans never found any reason for the bleeding and everything progressed normally after that but it was pretty scary!

Emmecat, that sounds so scary!!!!!!! Given that you have had such good hcg and a great scan I'd say chances are that this spotting is nothing to worry about. Although, of course its probably impossible not to.
Thinking of you and sending best wishes for your next hcg results.

Thanks ladies
Will go get my first lot of HCG today and hopefully have it back by this arvo.
Feel a little better ms wise this morning though still pretty rough. Haven't been sick yet which is a nice change.
Also haven't had anymore spotting, was just the tiniest amount but still freaked me out so good that my mw is getting it all checked out.

Me too! I'd have days where I thought "it's definitely all over now". The naughty feeling probably won't go away completely till the baby arrives safely hehe, but I'm sure it'll be all good!

Thanks guys.....I'm still worried cos I started spotting *again* today, this time it's still kinda in my cm (sorry tmi) adn it's still brown- actually quite dark brown and a teeny tiny little wee bit clotty....but just a tiny bit, not like mc clots or anything
Still haven't had any cramping and I threw up AGAIN this morning after feeling like utter rubbish (still do). So I'm puzzled. I assume my HCG is still pretty high or I wouldn't have such bad ms?
If I was gonna mc,wouldn't I have started by now given that the first spotting/discharge started Monday night?

Aww hun, its so so so hard to tell with a miscarriage. I mean....with my m/c I started spotting pink, then brown for 4 days then I had my m/c., I started spotting the tuesday morning ad m/c the friday morning.
But with Caden, I spoted pink, then brown for nearly 2 weeks, It got quite dark at times but still brown, had a scan at 6 weeks and saw a heartbeat and I even spotted brown after the scan.
So its really so hard for us to say anything...because we dont know which way it will go.
I have everything crossed for you hun, and hope and pray that this bubba sticks for you.

Not to freak you out but a friend of mine threw up for days after her MC.....so I dont know if MS has any thing to do with it!
However I am confident that your bubba is ok....I mean you are 5 days into seeing a strong hearbeat...I cant imagine you MC. And Like I said I had the discharge for several weeks and red fresh blood and I was ok...so dont worry for now and just wait and see what HCG levels say or demand another scan for your peace of mind! I did and I felt way better after seeing my little blob with a heartbeat!!

Thanks Sheena- I guess I'm hoping like hell it's not a mc obviously! I did think that once you had a good heartbea the chances of mc went down quite a bit? Although I do know from sad experience that's not always the case.
I suppose my morning sickness still being so strong is a good sign too?

Roksana- pity about your friend's mc
Oh well all I can do is ride it out I guess. Waiting for my forms to arrive in the mail so I can go get my HCG test. I think my mw wants me to have a scan next week but I'd like one sooner!

Well ladies my forms arrived and I've gone and had my bloods done....and have a scan in an hours time! Yikes!
So I will know soon whether bubba is being naughty and just scaring me or if something has gone wrong.....
Funnily enough I'm also feeling a lot better already so not sure if that's good or bad! Still twinging occasionally but no cramping and the spotting seems to have stopped for now. Will be good to know one way or another.
I'll be so gutted if this dosn't work out though......
