Topic: HCG levels Posted: 12 February 2010 at 2:16pm |
Hi I am 6weeks today and just got the results from my first HCG level done at 5w4d. It was 46,000. Is this normal for my stage. I had a miscarriage last year and Im concerned that I could still possibly have one.
Did anyone else get HCG levels and what were they?

Yep, looks normal to me too.
My levels were quite a bit lower than yours at that stage. Who knows, maybe you're having twins?!

It looks very 'normal'! So I'd be very stoked with those levels.
Are you having another test done to track the doubling thing?
Congrats by the way - big time sticky vibes being sent your way!!!!

The levels on their own are not as important as the fact that they are increasing.... My levels were lower with Jake... 5w3d = 1150 and 6w3d = 21600 and this bubba they were 6550 at 5w...
Unfortunately the levels wont tell you if you are going to have a mc unless the start coming down but they are going up and that is the important thing to look at!!!!!!

Thanks BK. It appears my levels are a wee bit higher than the HCG range but who knows. Hopefully it goes up and that is all that matters.

Hehehe, twins aren't that bad you know Once you get over the inital shock anyway!!!
As long as the levels are doubling, that is the important thing. My levels were never any higher either!!!
