Morning all,

Just wondering if it is normal...

I'm 35 weeks and it occasionally feels like the baby is "shivering". Doesn't last for very long and all other movements are normal.

Also, does anyone know if we should be worried that the baby isn't at all descended yet?

Thanks a lot.

Hiya,

I had something like this yesterday, first time I had it and I was like "What was that?!' Anyways I mentioned it to my midwife yesterday she didn't think that it was anything but didn't know what it was either... sorry not much of a help but just to know that others get it too.

On the descending thing, I've been told it doesn't really matter, some babies don't engage until labour starts, some are engaged from early on but it doesn't make a difference. My baby hasn't been engaging though and I am now 3 days OD.

Wishing you all the best.

I got that heaps with both pregnancies and i know of a lot of other people that have too. No idea what it is though. It feels rather strange. lol.

As for baby descending, as Bex said some do it early, some not till labour.
