I think its the online thing thats made it worse - coz of course if they're playing with someone else they have to finish where as when they're just playing a standard game they can pause.

Yep totally. And there's those stupid games where you can't save until certain points, so you just *have* to keep playing
Totally agree Jade - ah making me mad thinking about it lol. I'm just glad I agreed to get My sky when we had DS so he could pause or record TV so he has no exscuse but to help straight away :P
YOu know those little white switches on the wall...give them a warning if they haven't done what you ask & then if you have to ask again, flick the switch....you'll get ranting an raving the first time but there usually isn't a next time...
at least you can turn off the computer/playstation... my DH paint miniatures!! So he just HAS to finish painting this certain feature as he has mixed the paint and wont be able to get it exactly the same next time blah blah blah.
We made a rule (well I put my foot down) he can only paint when DD is asleep works well mostly but it means he does nothing else when she is asleep!!!
