Just wondering if anyone has recently brought a single mattress (for toddlers transition into a single bed) and could recommend where to go and what brand to get. There are soooooo many out there and they all vary in price! Looking at getting something middle of the range or maybe one step up.

We got a Sealy Bliss Plus from Big Save the other day... NZ made mattress with a pillow top, innersprung etc. It was $349 down to $269 so seemed like a good deal. I would go an innersprung mattress just to ensure that your child is supported well during development...and they last longer than a foam.
I would prefer to sleep on an innersprung mattress than a foam one so that's what we got for DS.
