Does anyone have any good ideas for using frozen, cooked shrimp.

We've had a packet in our freezer for a while and I'm wanting to clear the freezer out before we move.

In sushi.

In pasta - saute 1 onion finely chopped, 1 clove garlic, some chilli flakes, when soft add 1/4c white wine and tin of tomatoes, cook for about 20 min then add the shrimp to warm through, stir through some chopped pasrsley. Serve on spaghetti with some.

Add to a smoked fish pie.

Make a lemon, pea and prawn risotto. I oven bake mine - saute 1 onion, zest half a lemon and 1 clove garlic, add a cup of rice and cook for about 2 min, add 1/4c white wine, once reduced add 2 cups stock, bring to boil, cover then into preheated oven for 20min. meanwhile defrost the shrimp and peas (as much as you like of each), stir through the risotto with some grated parmesan, cover and back in the oven for 5 min.

stir fried either with rice or crispy noodles.

get some surimi and make a salad, have lots of things like capsicum, crispy noodles, tomatoes etc and you don't even need dressings.

Simmer them in a pot with some garlic and have some aioli to dip them in.

I love prawns I normally have them in my freezer for quick meals
