Topic: Guess what were having?!?!?! Posted: 09 February 2007 at 7:19pm |
Well it's a BOY!!!!
We have to have another scan at 32wks though as the placenta is to low and is covering the birth canal. If it hasnt moved by 32wks then c-section, it needs to move about 2cm for me to be able to have a natural birth.
All good though he's healthy, she said it isnt 100% and to get them to verify at the 32wk scan, but we saw it, so Nathan is so excited.

I have a similar issue to you, my placenta is low lying as well, mine is about 2cm away though so I'm pretty safe from a c-section thank god!

Im not worried really. DF is more worried about it than me. I told him I dotn actually care how babies born, I think being second time I don't ahve such high expectations on the birth anymore. IF its csetion this time then I will jsut have to try for natural next time, Haleigh was forceps.
The lady did assure me that in most cases the placenta does move, we only need it to move 2cm, so will find out in 10wks what the go is
