My house has fleaS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week i was playing on floor with Aurora and i saw two fleas hoping in carpet around my cat Aro. So I immediately went out and got flea treatmesnt for Aro (frontline) and the carpets ("No flea "which is supposedly non toxic to people and children),

I wanted fleas gone and aurora plays on floor all day and is at the stage where she no longer stays on teh mats i put out for her but rolls all over teh place.
So i was ultra careful with major spray of our entire house last week. I h ad SIL come down and take rory walking while i did it. THen i has shower packed up gear and we all went out to ILs for the night to be on safe side and not be around flea treated house for 24 hours/.

Well a week later and i am down on floor playing with rory and i see two fleas jump from carpet to her head!!!!!!!!!!!! YuCK yuck YuCK yuckYuCK yuckYuCK yuckYuCK yuckYuCK yuckYuCK yuck

What do i do!!!!!!!!!!!! I will treat house again and check cat out (do you think i'll need to treat the cat again???)

Any recomendations i hate fleas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We flea bombed our house when I was pregnant, just made sure DH did it and I went and stayed at the parents for a couple of nights (as DH was away anyway)

I just got the bombs from the supermarket and it seemed to work (though not sure if we had heaps of fleas but with a dog you never know huh!)

Flea bombs are great, you also will need to vacuum. Check that the one that you choose kills the eggs and lavae as well, otherwise it will just kill the fleas and then new ones will hatch out. the odds are that the fleas arent on the cat and the cat is protected now, and any that jump on the cat will die. I definitely would not retreat the cat without veterinary advice.

Use the bombs and also pop a piece of flea collar in the vaccum to kill any that get in there or if you have bags throw the bag out.

We got a flea infestation about two months ago.
We treated both cats and the dog then flea bombed, thoroughly vacuumed and bathed the dog with flea shampoo.
Worked a treat.
I still see the odd one jumping around (we live next to a farm) but they're die as soon as they bite our pets

I hate them!
But not as much as the flies we get at this time of year. Farms. Ugh.

We had a flee problem a couple of months ago also. We used flee bombs. We did 1 upstairs & it did not solve the problem so we did 1 in DS2&3 b'room as they were being bit, 1 in the hallway downstairs, 1 upstairs & 1 in the sleep-out & also put flee powder under the cushions on the couch & now no longer have a flee problem. We had the same problem last yr also.

eta we got 2x 2 packs from pns
