Hi guys,

Bit embarrasing but i think I might be leaking amniotic fluid. Heres the story just wondering if I should bother contacting midwife.
Im 35 weeks pregnant. My husband and I BD last night and about half an hour later I went to the loo again and ended up having to change my underware. There wasnt heaps of fluid but pants were wet and there was no smell, wasnt normal body fluids of myself or husbands its very watery/silky like and white. I noticed more this morning but not as much I have a pad on but its hardly anything.

I did google and it can cause infection writing this now I am thinking perhaps I should contact the midwife but ???? any suggestions?

Definitely call your midwife.

I do know holes can repair themselves but either way your midwife needs to know and she'll be able to tell you anyway what it might be

Hello again.

I would definitely contact your MW. It could be something else or it very well could be your waters leaking. Good luck.

You're not being a pain. It's her job to sort out any problems/worries. It's best to get things checked just in case. Hopefully you'll hear back soon.

Sounds like your hind waters to me. My hind waters broke at night and I thought I'd wet my pants, but they kept doing a slow leek. My contractions started 40 minutes later though.

Good luck I agree with Deb, its better to get checked out and be safe than sorry
