I've come down with my second cold in the space of a fortnight.

Is anyone else finding themselves more susceptible to colds?

Yip, managed two colds and a tummy bug this preg but had nothing at all last preg!

I highly recommend lemon and manuka honey drinks to help with the cold. i lived on it for about 2-3 days and my cold went quickly. I actually brought the Charlies Lemon Stuff as it has added Vit C

I was at my doctor yesterday and he warned me that you're more suseptable (sorry, no idea how to spell that!) to colds etc when you're UTD.

Yea, I just got over a cold. Had a harsh one earlier on during MS as well. The first one I was really sick for about 2 weeks, and this last one I was off study for 3 days (but in bed for 6).

I've had 2 colds with only 2 weeks break in between It seemed to take ages to recover from them and i still have a slightly sore throat from the last one. I really hope I don't get any more sicknesses during this pregnancy, it's so nice to start feeling normal again after so much sickness!!

Hi lemongirl - I am only 4 and a half weeks pregnant and and have had a chest infection for the last weeks. My Dr gave me a perscription for antibiotics that can be taken while pregnant. I haven't taken them but am getting a bit over coughing through the night and getting no sleep!

The Dr said is nothing to worry

I agree with lemon and manuka honey in hot water, yummy. I drank that when I felt a little off colour and I never got a flu or cold.
