Mr 4 months is at day care while I try and work but keeps bringing home all the other kids bugs :(

Any tips on treating coughs/colds/runny noses?

What works for your bubbas?

not a lot you can do really, and they wont give anything apart from pamol for him anyway.

so plenty of fluids and pamol 4-6 hourly and if need be see your doctor to see what they say

If you think he isn't getting enough fluids see your doc or go to a&e.

Cheers...understand all that....some people say put vicks on there feet (???), use vapourisers etc.

Just trying to make it comfortable for hm.

If he has a runny nose you can put saline drops up his nose to help clear it. Also put the yellow pages or something under the legs at the head of the cot to prop it up a bit.

Whenever DS has a snuffly nose we use a vaporiser. When it's been really bad though we've taken him into the bathroom while the shower is running hot.

Other than that there really isn't a heck of a lot you can do for bubs that age

I put a stainless steel bowl with boiling water and eucalyptus oil in the boys room at night and that helps.
I put vicks on a piece of muslin, with another piece of muslin on top and put that on Tys chest since the vicks can burn their skin sometimes.
