Growing Up in New Zealand is a new longitudinal study of New Zealand-born children, led by the University of Auckland.
It is a research project to gather information about a group of 7,800 children from the Auckland, Counties-Manukau and Waikato district health board areas from before their births until they are adults.
i thought about it coz thought it would be really interesting, but they only accepting applications at the moment from certain criteria people. ie due between nov & jan or something like that. i remember i was JUST out of the range...
i just saw that the deadline for this has been extended from december 2009 until march 2010 now for anyone that wanted to take part but was due after the date.
I'm doing the Massey allergies and asthma in rural vs urban kids, and their sleep in pregnancy and PND one too probably although that one is just getting organised now. Too far south for growing up in NZ one. I think they should rename it "growing up in Auckland and Waikato" myself
