Enjoy the shopping....the selection for boys is very small. Went to KJ at Dressmart in Tawa and they have about one small rack for baby boys and a hugh selection for girls. I think we're saving by having boys because I know if we'd girls I'd be going over board with the shopping

Ann is a nice middle name - goes with virtually everything, much like Elizabeth.

LOL my lurkers are ok....esp sylvo and diva.....but those *stalkers* - well u gotta watch them huh???
Yeah if we add Ann(e?) - then it will be her third name before a surname...mind you i have no middle name so kinda like the idea of more than one....
DH is getting used to the idea of a girl...well so he says - but found out a friend is 6 weeks pg today and comment was "i bet he gets his boy.." Im am so going to beat him senseless soon if he doesnt snap outta it...well not really but it is starting to grate...might have to bring on the tears to snap him outta it i think....LMAO!!!

I have heard of a few men being like that bombshell, to the point where they didn't want to find out at the 20 week scan as if it was a girl they would be upset, but at the birth there is so much else happening and they were so amazed at meeting their child the sex no longer mattered.
Hope your dh soon gets over the idea, and if it makes you feel better, I thought the same about you when I found out I was having a boy "I bet bombshell has a girl"

I bet he'll get used to it, especially once she's born... DH wasn't exactly sure what to DO with a girl (he's one of 3 boys and then a baby sister 11yrs later) but now he just loves our girls to pieces!

its funny cause a really close male friend of like 20 years and his wife have two girls...I adore and miss them as they live O/E - but when he found out his first was a girl we had a heart to heart and then the second well he was soo upset at never getting his boy - but he is an awesome daddy and adores his girls more than anything...and I am sure my Dh will be the same...it doesnt help that all his mates have boys - but my statement to him was - look at all the boys close to her that she will date in the future...not sure whether that helped or not..LOL
Hey sarahbeth = im including your son on that dating list!!! I think.....

If it helps Bombshell - my hubby is jealous that you're having a girl. He said it would have been better if all us March mummies were having boys and then he would have known that it was impossible to have a girl if you are due in March LOL

my2angels....I didn't realise until after I posted that I have a diff username on here to what I do on NZWP...I do personally know Bombshell so it was supposed to be a cheeky comment...but realised it could have got confusing with the change of username (usually minik8e)...
I'm sure that she'll be thrilled to go sailing etc with her dad just as much as a son would have!!
