I've been to the Wellington one 3 times now and it is great. They are very busy but you do get heaps of samples of nappies etc. The formula companies don't usually give formula to under 6 months as they can't be seen to advertise formula when breast is best for the first 6 months. If you join Little Treasures Club at the show you get a goodie bag which has heaps of stuff in it including a bag of treasures wipes (full bag). Heaps of vouchers for discounts off products and you will get heaps of info about alsorts of products and companies.

I think we'll have to give it a miss this year - It's jab day tomorrow and after the last lot I want to keep a close eye on bubs.
Jax would you mind picking up a load of info and stuff for us (just whatever you get) and I'll collect it at our next playdate

I told DH we are going on saturday - luckily it is early enough on for him to still be excited! Not about the show, but about the pregnancy.

Emma Rose and I braved it first thing yesterday morning... And found it to be even better than last year. Be warned -- it's slow going because of all the prams, so if you're pregnant, wear decent walking shoes and be prepared to linger! There were heaps of great freebies, from formula samples to nappy samples to Huggies skincare range samples. Companies like Persil are selling their products (a 1kg box of Persil Sensitive was $3!) and there are lots of baby food companies eager for you to try their brands. We got tons of coupons and special offers. It costs $15 to get in and parking near the convention centre is $5. They have an EFTPOS machine in the lobby but I found it easier to just take my own cash -- which I spent all of anyway! And in the lobby they are selling stickers with your name, address and phone number on them -- 30 for $2 -- makes entering all the competitions at the stands MUCH easier. I highly recommend going! Many of the stands have EFTPOS and credit-card facilities as well, which helps... well, it didn't help MY pocket, but it sure helped theirs! :)

well we went early and it was worth it - heaps of stuff discounted for the last day and we got brainy baby toys for more than half off and sheet sets cheap too! also scored huge on nappies (think i have about 18) as well as maternity nursing pads etc which will be great...got heaps of those too!
ALso did the treasures sign up and was impressed when i got home to see how many nappies etc they had thrown in my treasures bag too!!
Have sore feet now and going to go have a cat nap - just unpacked all my bags to have another looky and couldnt beleive there was soooo much! Well worth it.
