I think you're fine as long as its not going on for long periods and not food poisoning.
I had it quite a few times, some foods set me off almost immediately after eating them when I was preggy and my midwife didn't seem concerned. Just told me to make sure I was getting lots of fluids and to contact her if I started getting contractions or anything untoward.

I wouldn't say it's a bad sign, but you probably have a bug or reaction rather than a preg symptom (as far as the diahhorea goes, I mean). I was constipated by 7wks with this preg but with the other two I don't think I noticed any constipation until third trimester.

i havent really been constipated much at all...but have had the opposite...and has i think been due to how much water i drink...i drink like 2.5 plus litres per day so it flushes me out more than usual....and have found i am now overly sensitive (in that way) to fatty foods and junk...love BK but it doesnt love me now...

I have always had a bit of timmy sensitivity (well, since I got a bug in Egypt anyway), and I found the first few weeks I was pretty much on the loo every evening. Now it is only some evenings, but I know that I would prefer this to constipation! (At least I guess I would as I have never had constipation!)
Seems like you get one or the other or a good mix of both!

I had the same in early pregnancy - I think it's just your body reacting to the surge in hormones and "changes".
My MW wasn't worried, just told me to up my fluid intake.

I think it is natural to worry about everything baysmum! I know that I worried about it and asked about it on another bulletin baord I am on, just becasue you only hear about the constipation side of things!
I guess people are more squeamish when it comes to talking about runny poos!!!
