Yep, meds worked 100% for lil miss, she was completely asymptomatic while on Losec. She was on the highest dose for her weight tho, and we had monthly appointments with the paediatrician to check her progress.

And I agree about it being hereditary. When diagnosing lil miss, the paed asked me if I had reflux during preg (yes) and if she hiccuped a lot in utero (yes).

L is getting worse not better

Meds have never 'sorted' it for us. Even the paed seems to just say- 'well hang in there'
I have asked about changing meds but they all want to let him grow out of it and say- look at how happy and healthy he is... Im like- yeah well look at ME!!!!! do I look Happy and Healthy?????
grrr

My sis has three kiddies very close together in age. First had moderate reflux, second had chronic reflux and third was a dream baby. So maybe three is the magic number Tastic - you might be in luck this time around

Oh and there are no other cases in our family history.

Thanks Babyg - here's hoping little lady is my dream baby (and if its not too much to ask that she sleeps through from a early age and not over 3years like the boys!)
