Topic: Snapfish magic mug - dishwasher? Posted: 30 June 2011 at 12:57pm |
The "free" mug email reminded me that I've been meaning to ask if anyone has one of the magic mugs from Snapfish (the ones that are black then turn white and show the picture when hot water is poured into them) and if so do you put it in the dishwasher? I bought one for DH a few months back and it said hand wash only on it which is what we have been doing. But it's a bit of a PITA when you are chucking everything else in the dishwasher and have to stop and handwash one mug lol! So just wanted to check if it was ok or not?

We have one and got one for my MIL and no we don't put it in the dishwasher and neither does my MIL.
I've thought about it when I'm loading the dishwasher but I'd be gutted if it was ruined so just handwash it quickly
They are cool though, I love seeing the pics of DS show up from when he was a little baby! Might habe to get another with pics of DD

Black stuff eventually comes off even if you don't put it in the dishwasher... but the dishwasher definately sped up the process by a factor of 100!!. They are very cool though
