Topic: I got a bassinette !! Posted: 11 March 2006 at 3:37pm |
YAY !! I got a bassinette today, finally !! The best part is, it was *free* - my team leader at work didn't need it anymore and was happy to give it away to us. It's an ex-rental from Baby Factory, kind of an off white color with teddy bear print, *and* in really good condition.
I'm just so stoked, one less thing to worry about !!
Anyway, just thought I'd share my excitement LOL

How exciting. I remember when we got Xanda's bassinette, I was so excited I had to wrestle my partner so that I could put it together, he wouldn't let me put it together until I had packed my hospital bag tho. Big meany, he rained on my parade.

Heheh Lu you're right, got all the big things out of the way now, well almost ! We have a cot, we just have to get it to Auckland from Taupo Otherwise all I really need is a bottle steriliser, some bedding for the cot, and maybe a handful more clothes

LOL Sarah, the only reason I say a "handful" more is because I want to have a couple of outfits in either pink or blue if we are successful in finding out whether it's a girl or boy at our next scan, otherwise I probably won't bother buying anything else.
And I have my fingers crossed for you too... so lots and lots of baby dust !!!

Hey Jax thats great, what a great Team Leader! i would highly reccommend that you get a new mattress for it though, just to be on the safe side. I dont think they are very expensive and it reduces the risk of SIDS
