Topic: Baby in car Posted: 23 December 2009 at 9:31pm |
Did anyone see this on the news? I actually felt sick watching it, how could someone do that to their 3 year old??? Ugh. I would've been as p**** off as that guy that ripped into the mother.
What's she doing leaving him in the car full stop, let along in 33 degree heat with the window up?!
Reminds me of (I think a policeman?) who left his police dog in the car with the windows up and the dog died from the heat. Some people just don't think.

The poor little boy. made my heart wrench when they showed him being brought out with his red face and sweat dripping off him and crying. I hope they charge the mother.
I never leave DS in the car even if he is fast asleep. And I don't understand how someone could do that, I mean she wouldn't want to be stuck in a car like that now would she....

I just saw that & it made me sick too. Some people have no bloody sense & they don't deserve to be parents. IMHO I think people should have to study & write an exam before they are allowed to breed. Believe me, I don't think she would've passed. I hope they charge her too-it's called child abuse! That little boy could have died. Stupid woman. And she didn't even look that stressed about it.

I didnt see that, man thats awful!!! I could never do that!!! Poor little boy!!!!!!
My mum rescued a little baby from a car when she was pregnant with me, she said it was so hot and the baby was crying so hard, and there was no sigh of its mother, so mum got into the car some how and let some air in, the mother came back and didnt even thank my mum or anything! Stupid biarch!

It's awful isn't it. I can sort of see how it could happen with a newborn if they were asleep and you were sleep deprived, you could almost forget they were in the car when your brain is that muddled and baby wasn't making any noise. But a toddler - no way would they let you forget that they were in the car

I'm not in any way defending what happened, I think it is absolutely horrible for that poor wee boy but I just can't imagine how anyone would leave their child in the car like that on purpose! I had read that she had just dropped off all her other kids with a friend, and he was sitting right in the very back of i think a 7 seater so maybe it is possible she just completely forgot? I dunno maybe Im just a little naive but surely it couldn't have been that she left him there on purpose!!!!! I believe he was 18 months aswell not 3? Anyways, Im just glad that those people managed to get him out of the car have heard some horror stories since this story came up and it could've turned out a lot worse unfortunately.

Did anyone see Oprah a wee while bag and a little girl in America died this way, I still think about it, it was heart breaking.
They had a break in routine, the mum had the baby in the back, I think she was 2ish and because she doesn't normally drop her off and she was asleep so not making a sound the mum simply forgot, totally heartbreaking.
Glad they got to him in time.

She changed her story later in the day. When she was first confronted, she said he was asleep and she thought she could do the shopping. Now shes saying she forgot. She even had to be told to give her son some water!
