sounds like you might have a pinched nerve. Talk to your midwife about some exercises you can do.

If hot water bottles and weet packs don't work you could try going to an oestopath, I absolutly swear by them. They have training for working on pregnant women and they just use a lot of massage it is perfectly safe and worked wonders for me.

Thanks, i think im going to talk to my midwife as the only time it doesnt hurt is when i am walking, and i cant walk for 24hrs a day,
i am also wondering if its hightened by the fact that ive been fighting off a bug of some sort, i didnt realise that someone could go to the toliet so much in a 24 hour period...lol
anyway going to have a hot bath

If its hip and low back pain its not symphysis pubis dysfunction (that is when its at the front of your pelvis).
I would suggest a referral to an obstetric physio (but I am biased!). Like someone else said, try heat packs. You may need to do some gentle exercises as well - in a warm pool can be very beneficial. Hopefully it will ease up soon

I had the same pains but found lying on my side with pillows in strategic places (eg one between my knees) was all I needed to relieve it. I had all the pillows in the house except the one that Spencer slept on

Aimee you're still here!! I've been away from work for the last week, ended up in hospital as my body decided to try and reject the baby. Needless to say it's been a traumatic week, but I'm doing well now, on medication for the nausea (yay!!!), and have final bloodtests and a scan this afternoon.
So what have I missed??? Who's delivered???

Oh gosh Clare...what happened? How do you know that your body was trying to reject the baby? Were you bleeding?
I remember my bleeding episodes at 8, 10 and 18 weeks....it was horrible! You must have been so scared...but bub is okay??

Yes, bubs (or Bubble as we call it!!) is ok. No, no bleeding, just severe vomiting and body trying to eat the baby. Manifested itself in severe dehydration (pee the colour of fanta!!) and feeling so sick I really thought I might die. But am doing 100% better now Have another scan this afternoon to make sure bubble ok now. Fingers crossed!!
