I get to graduate tomorrow!!! Yah me! This is my post-grad diploma in second language teaching that I did while I was in Japan. I could've graduated last year but decided to wait til I was back in the country, to be with family. Only thing is...Mum went into hospital on Monday. She got taken by ambulance and ended up having emergency surgery to take out what turned out to be extremely infected fallopian tubes, so she won't be able to come. . I know she is just gutted about it, so am planning to be completely embarressing and turn up at the hospital in my gown.

Luckily Mum is okay, and it is just a day afterall. We are going to go out for a special dinner later on, when she gets better.

So, We are going to the ceremony, then out to lunch. My step-mum is looking after the boys then bringing them over for lunch.....hmmm, should be interesting, Jake loves to throw food! He can sit next to Grandad I think!

Wooooooo yay Liz!!!!

I'd be graduating too but decided to wait until I finish honours so I can be done with the whole thing.

Zeke is graduating with his Science degree on Friday. I resent him because I'm not graduating so don't want to go. He gets to graduate with Law again next year so it's not fair. (Sulky whiny child mood)

Anyway... have fun and make Lewis take you out and join the younguns celebrating!!!

Yay Liz! Enjoy it, it really is the best feeling (apart from having a baby!)

And I'm sure your Mum wil be stoked if you turn up at the hospital in your gown - she can tell all the other ladies how proud she is of her girl!

CONGRATULATIONS - I hope that you took lots and lots of photos for your brag book. Uni of AKL Bachelor of Arts has a wonderful baby pink hood (not that it was the ONLY reason to study there).

Maybe it's the same all over as Massy has a "dusk pinkl" hood for B.As, but I only had a stupid sash for my post-grad. Went up to the hosptial to see Mum and she was stoked, but a little sad I guess for having missed it. I'll get the video though, best thing to watch I reckon as you can fast-forward all the boring bits (read: everything but me)

Your mum would have been so happy - this way she would have got to brag about you to everyone on the ward - at the grad she would have had to have been in competition with all of the other parents. I hope that she is starting to feel better and will be out soon.
(My mum was in hospital up to, during and after my wedding - hubby and I had to go in all dressed up to see her).

Those are gorgeous photos Liz, although the code is broken on one of them :P You're missing a bracket.

I LOVE the look on Taine's face in that last photo !

And when did Lewis grow all that facial hair !? The last photo I saw he was clean shaven !? Either that or my baby brain just got WAY worse

he can grow hair overnight. He probably was clean shaven - last time I saw him he was i think!
His father is rarotongan x with god knows what. His mother had an affair with a soldier and they don't know who he is, but I'm going with Greek, as we always get extra olives on our pizzas when we go to a Greek restaurant in Sydney
