We are with Te Puawaitanga which for the first few months were fantastic and Jack had a lovely nurse. Then they had something happen with their database and all babies born over the Christmas/New Year period were lost in their system. Usually with TPW you get nurse checks and social work checks to provide resources etc so you have someone coming to you in between nurse visits. We now don't get any of that, because they keep forgetting to manually put us into their appointment schedule and that's the only reason I chose them over plunket. Also our lovely nurse retired so we are stuck with one I'm not that fazed on.

So I was thinking with #2 I would like to go to Plunket as they have the classes/groups etc as well, but don't want 2 kids at 2 different organisations etc. Can I swap Jack over at the same time or is this a no-go? TIA

i changed from plunket to another provider and i just rang them and had an appointment for the following week

i just thought we dont get any visits atm? we haven't had one since ten months and next one not till 15months and the community lady just hasnt come for ages.. ?our old one retired too but new one nice...maybe i just don't notice no visits as much as the PAFT lady is really awesome? so we are still supposed to be having community lady visit and more visits than the 10 month and 15mth one?

i would ring them but I would think they can't really say no to you going back.
Mum to two amazing boys!

You can definately change if that is what you want. No one can make you stay with any organisation you are unhappy with.

Cool thanks for the advice!

KA - I had an appointment twice with the community support lady and she said she turned up and noone was home - lies. Then when she turned up she had no info on Jack etc which I found stupid. Then she said she would call in a month because we were having issues - 4 months later I'm still waiting. Then another lady came around the other day but just dropped off pamphlets that were about starting solids etc?! WTF my boy is 14 months old!

I also don't like how there's no centre to go to and there's basically just a lack of programmes. I think I'll swap when #2 arrives, that way it's a smooth transition and we can just arrange things together (especially seeing as they don't get seen much from now). I just thought their excuse that I hadn't been seen between 5 weeks and 9 months by the community support lady ('database crashed') was either pathetic or just showed the lack of organisation.
