Topic: Question on ****Shows**** Posted: 09 August 2006 at 8:11am |
I never had a show with Paige. I have had one this morning (I am pretty sure). Kind of odd coloured light browny mucus stuff (Sorry TMI!).
How long after this did you go into Labour etc???
I text the midwife and she just said ok. So I am going to go off to work and carry on???

I had a show a couple of hours after contractions started and Maya was born a couple of days later.

Yeah that's about right - all it basically means is your cervix is starting to dilate a little which is pretty normal to start happening from this stage onwards, does not necissarily means that it's going to continue to do so.. sorry. I would just take it easy considering you still have a *few* more weeks till bubs is really due, depends on what ype of work you do i spose, see how you go and just lay low. lol.. It is exciting though cos means your body it starting to get ready for labour. YAY!

Crickey! Exciting stuff!
I've also heard it can be another few weeks until things happen or a few days. Just take things easy and keep us updated of course!

I think mine happened the week before I gave birth? Can't remember exactly, but when I told my midwife I pretty much got the same answer as everyone else - that it could be another couple of weeks away.
