 Topic: We had the coolest day today!

Sometimes it feels like I'm always whinging and moaning about something, so I thought I'd share some sunshine for a change.
We had the coolest day, we pretty much just hung out all day. I took the girls to Lynnmall and we had sushi for lunch (yes, even the gremlins and they LOVED it!) and Maya got a haircut and we went to the $2 shop and bought sparkly polish to paint her nails, and then we went and picked out stationery for the gremlins birthday invites (eek, already!) then we came home and Maya and I made invites while the gremlins slept then my friend came over with her kids and shouted us Hell pizza.
So just a pretty boring, routine day but I really enjoyed spending time with the kids, and I didn't do a single bit of work all day (except a quick phone call in the hairdresser).
Ah, life is good (for the moment)

That sounds like lots of fun!
I tidied my whole house today so I had a great day too! I was amazed at how much more relaxed I was in the late afternoon, and reading books and stuff, and pretty much just blobbed with them for a bit cause I had nothing else to do hehe.

That sounds awesome. I can't wait until DD is old enough to take out shopping! DH won't even let me cut her hair yet.
Busymum, my day was like yours, I tidied the whole house too. We went for a huge walk this morning with another friend of mine, and had a coffee afterwards, after such a blah day yesterday it was bliss!
Yay for good days!

It was so nice in the sun yesterday. I took Caleb for a walk around the waterfront in his pram and had a coffee at Mission Bay. He slept for about an hour and a half. It was a shame to wake him when I put him in his carseat.

I had a good day too, DH is away in Wellington at a conference, so I have had my mum staying and helping out, and she has spring cleaned the house, and even washed the skirting boards, something that I can't get down to do, she has gone home already, one more day of being a solo mum until we fly up to Palmy tomorrow and meet DH !! yay!!
