I won one a week or so ago - YAY - but....... I dont know how to use it, how do I get the songs from the computer to the i-pod. I have it plugged in etc & its charged, just dont know how to get songe off comp to pod

You need to download and install I tunes. Its free. Then you load the songs you want onto Itunes and connect your ipod. I think though, if you decide down the track you want to add new music it will wipe all your old stuff off. Goodluck

In i-tunes it stores your i-pod selection and then when you update you just add to that so that although it overwrites everything on the i-pod it is overwriting it with the songs you already had on it plus the new ones (or minus any you got sick of listening too).
Is super easy to do once you have i-tunes.

only have dumb brain working at the moment, I have downloaded i-tunes and have added a cd to the library that I want to add to pod but that is as far as I can understand, its probably something really easy but I cant see it yet

it should come up with a icon on the left hand side if your ipod is connected properly and then you can just create playlists etc and when you choose to eject the ipod from the computer it will update the ipod and put all ur songs on it.

got it sorted it thanks ladies, apparently the ipod was corrupt & I had to re-load the software from apple (bout 4hrs worth on broadband!!) but all working great now and am listening to "A Womans Heart" on my new boom box I got at bargin price from countdown last week - YAY
as you said cuppatea so so so easy when its all working! happy camper now
