Hmmmm that hitch hiker thing looks interesting.

I borrow a double stroller when i look after a friends daughter and it is such a mare that i just don't want to go down that road. I'm thinking that for the first few months we can get away with the sling/front pack for baby with toddler in buggy, then i'll get a toddler board or that hitch hiker thing i think when baby gets too big.

Do Mb do a toddler seat?? I saw a family at the mall using a pram with the toddler seat on the front and baby was in the back? Didn't look at it closely as I never imagined needing one but wish I had paid more attention. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Are the any good?
Jaye is very nosey and can't imagine him lasting long in the toddler seats that go in the back/bottom of the prams.

Check out the marco one www.bubstuff.co.nz it's good cos the youngest is higher up so once they can sit up they can see out over the toddler. I have taken mine everywhere and works off road really well too.

I dont' think mountain buggy do a toddler seat and the couple of buggys I tried out with them weren't very controllable once both kids were in it and one my eldest was hanging out the side and then rocking the seat back and forth which is really unsafe, they felt like they would tip over sideways easily too.

The double mountain buggy is good for outside but inside malls etc it's useless cos it's so big and I found it a real pain in the arse to get in and out of the boot as it weighs a ton. I went with a side by side cos I don't like the phil and teds type set up with one looking at the back of the others seat.

Amy was 20months when Sophie was born and yes it was tough at times (and it still is ) but it is great. They love each other so much and play really well (most of the time). Sophie adores Amy is is her little shadow and runs after her everywhere and Amy is so caring if Sophie - she even shares her biscuits sometimes!!

As someone else said - routine will be your friend! The best thing i have done is to get both of them sleeping from 1 -3 each day . Also once baby arrives, just being organised with things like drinks and snacks and books for Jaye to have whilst you are feeding baby.

And for a while, TV will be your friend - In the early days Amy watched a LOT of ITNG and Bob the Builder. Not great parenting but when you have a new baby you just have to do what you have to do .

Congrats - it will be OK
