Last night after I showered I had the normal leaking problem happening- but after I had put a support bra and pads on I noticed a little bit of blood coming out of both breasts. They were also leaking alot more than they do- but I wasn't worried about that- just the little bit of blood.
Then this morning I woke to find little blotches of blood on the pads.
Is this normal? Has anyone else had this?
Just thought I'd ask here before trying to call the hospital to ask someone- then be put on hold or transfered to about 10 different people before getting cut off anyways...

Sorry, can't help but just thought I'd share your frustration. I've been trying to get hold of the hospital today too! No answer at the delivery suite.. Too bad if I was actually in labour haha!

there's blood coming out of everywhere on this place today!!! Have a check for any small cuts around your nipple where your bra or pad could have been rubbing - but this could just be your milk ducts clearing out to make way for the white stuff as there is a huge increase in blood flow to the boobs during the second and third trimesters. If you are really worried, grab a magazine and sit it out by the phone. If it has stopped or is only a small amount, write it down in your pregnancy book and make sure you talk to your doctor about it next time you see them.

I'm trying to lift my boobs and move them around to have a look but can't see any cuts or that. So looks like I'm sitting this one out to wait on the phone. Thanks for the help Maree, hopefully it is just the milk ducts clearing. And thank god your not in labour and waiting on the phone huh baalamb.
