Hi ladies thought I might ask you guys before I call the midwife. I have been feeling what I thought at first was bubs tapping, but it such a regular tap that it almost feels like a pulse? I am feeling it at the front in the middle about 7cms below my belly button. Not sure what it is and if I should be concerned? Has anyone else experienced this?

Yup ! I get it alot now, some ladies get it from earlier on than I have, but it's bub hiccuping in my case - do you get quite a few of these 'pulses' in a row every few seconds? I would say that's what it is, but I'm not an expert, and if you're still worried - ring your midwife !

Are you sure its not the hiccups that can feel a bit like a pulse. However if you are at all concerned ring your midwife that is what they are there for.

I didn't think of Hiccups! That would make sense! It does kinda stop and start but when it does happen is in such a regular beat that is defiantly not the same as the other movements and much fainter. How strange! I'm seeing my midwife on Friday so I will ask her as well. Thanks ladies that makes me feel better!

Yeah, my daughter use to get hiccups a lot when i was pregnant with her, so cute and weird! This guy has only had them a few times in comparison but it seems to last for ages when he does get them!!
