This is a good question as I too am OVER IT lol
My question though is.....did your bubs stay as wriggly as usual just before you started labour? Only asking cos my MIL reckons babies go quiet in the days leading up to giving birth and if that's the case I'm never getting this one out! lol. She's maybe a little less kicky but def still feel her moving around lots. Also don't think I've 'dropped' paticularly |
ah , I remember being over it with Caitlyn , I know better now, pregnancy is the easy part
But another example of how MILs dont always know what they are talking about , all babies are different, yes, a lot do go quieter in the days leading up to birth , but not all, my friend was 5 cms dilated , doubled over in pain and her daughter was still kicking away , so clearly that I (who was there ) could see her feet still

6 days overdue I went for accupuncture which gave me mild contraction-like pains that evening.
7 days overdue I went for a Bowen session at 4.30pm. Went straight home and labour started at 5.20pm.
6 cm dialated by midnight but the MW decided to go CS at 1am (8 days overdue).

With my second my labour started 2 minutes after midnight ON her due date (little girl knew she was expected!), and she was born 9 hours and 20 minutes later.
With my first my labour started at about 11.30am on a Saturday morning, and he wasn't born until just after 1pm on the Sunday afternoon, 23.5 hours.
