Thanks heaps for the info vick, he definately knows what "no" means and can generally control his urge to do something when told "no" - most of the time anyway, sometimes it is just too hard not to touch when things look so inviting!!

So far we have been pulling away and saying "no biting" so perhaps we need to be more specific and firm with just a simple "no" using a firm tone.

Appreciate the tip and the knowledge that one day he may grow out of it and I can cuddle and allow a kiss from him without cringing whilst waiting for the "chomp".

My friends son is three and the otha day he bit the neighbours daughter 3 times, so his mother bit him back and the next thing you know her sons father was on the doorstep with the police trying to press charges against her for "harming her child".
