I was never reeeaaaally THAT patient before, but now I am definately worse - but what can we do? Our bodies are going through huge changes! I say rant and rave and get it all out of you system, and if need be Paws -stuff a stapler down that womans throat - she shoudl know better than to make comments like that!

Funnily enough I haven't had any nasty comments about finding out the sex of the gremlins - I guess the thought of two is enough of a surprise for anyone!
I'm also secretly glad that my MIL passed away before I met Willie - you ladies make MIL's sound way too scary!
And yes, I am a grump. I flew off the handle at Maya yesterday. But then she was being especially annoying. She was lying on her bedroom floor saying she "can't get up coz my legs are broken". And i was trying to get us organised and out the door.

Now, now, Mrs Frantic, stuffing a stapler down her throat is not nice. Duct-taping her mouth shut, on the other hand, would be far more effective!

If my MIL was here in NZ I'd probably have her at the birth too, but it's my own mum that's a bit of a worry sometimes... we get along far better not being under one roof anymore, that's for sure !!

hmmmm I dont know Paws - if you do both people at the office might think you are a little *uhm - clears throat* grumpy? perhaps? Best to stick with one to make your point but not to overdo it...?

mrs frantic, you are right. it is your prerogative if you want to make the sex of your baby known and it is incredibly hard to stop referring to 'him' or 'her' around people once you get in the habit (in my experience). my husband's grandparents were adamant they wanted to be surprised by the sex of this baby but when everybody else knew and they didn't, they changed their minds and were completely excited and happy. hopefully this will be the case with your mil?

well the comments i get now (from ppl i know and complete strangers!!) so when are you having more?? wouldnt it be just lovely is you had another set of twins but girls this time??? Im like aahhhh ... you gona come round and look after them since you think its so neat??? grumpy aye lol

jack's fave thing to do at the moment is point to something he wants and just sit there and make this EXTRMEMELY AGGRIVATING (sp?) whingey noise!!!
i totally lost it with him the other day, i was getting the flu and felt like crap, all i wanted was a hug and he came and sat on my lap, headbutted me and then gave a good yank on my hair!!
i yelled at him, threw him off my knee (nicely though) and then burst into tears

doesn't it suck when your hormones attack your children?
today ella was eating some leftovers for her lunch and managed to dump the plate on the floor. i very patiently cleaned it up and gave her the remainder (not floored) to eat. next minute she's accidentaly tipped that lot onto the floor too. i lost it and dumped the lot in the bin and then sat down and cried because i knew it was an accident and i shouldn't have yelled. poor girl very bewilderedly came and gave me a kiss and a cuddle then quietly asked for a yoghurt.

Oh.... The children do end up wearing a lot of our frustration with these hormomes! Half the time when its not warranted!!!
Does that make us horrible Mums and make them grow up and have problems?????
