Topic: The No Cry Sleep Solution Posted: 16 February 2009 at 12:13pm |
My darling boy is extremely dependant on his dummy to go to sleep and stay asleep at night. I'm getting up every 45 mins to an hour to replace it at night, he has slept through twice ever.
So I'm thinking of purchasing 'The No Cry Sleep Solution'. Money is extremely tight (as I'm sure it is for everyone at the moment!) so I was wondering if anyone has bought a copy of this and found it useful?

I read it and thought it was good but decided to follow another book instead. I got my copy from the library, that way if I didn't like it I hadn't spent anything. I would suggest trying your local library first

Hi there, PM me with your email address and I can send you a digital version of 'The No Cry Sleep Solution'. Also, you might want to check out the baby whisperer forums, very good advice on there

I have the no cry sleep solution, found it helpful but the same ideas are on the babywhispererforums plus additional info, it worked for us in a matter of a couple of days.

I have a copy from the library at the moment. I am finding it brilliant and think I will buy a copy.
My bub was waking at least 5 or 6 times per night, after 2 days trying a few ideas from the book we were down to two very brief wakings. hopefully soon he will be sleeping the whole night through :)

I'm a HUGE fan of Elizabeth Pantley, and I have a friend who was involved in her trials while she was writing her books and she put me onto her books.
She has some good advice on her website the I'd recommend reading, and see if you can pick up some hints through there, if not, check out your library for sure.

Thanks for the replies, I am starting with the sleep logs tomorrow (I have four days off work to dedicate to the mission) and I can't wait.
Am loving the book, I cried when I read the first bit about how evil CIO is...

.Mel, did you use Pantley's threories for Coopers problem sleeping? We have hit a bit of a rough patch at the mo. Its not the fact that she won't sleep its the fact that she wants to sleep in our bed Its far too hot for that and Mummy needs some well earned time out!
I am thinking of buying the toddler version, do you recommend I buy it? Thanks for the website link, I have had a good read.
