Topic: I think our baby has the hiccups? Posted: 01 May 2006 at 12:10pm |
Hi Ladies!
I have read that we are sometimes able to feel if baby has the "hiccups".
Does anyone know exactly how these may feel and how often baby can get them?
I'm curious as I am SURE I can feel baby hiccuping alot. I seem to feel it atleast once a day, and already today I have felt them twice!
It just feels really strange and I am wondering if its the hiccups at all? Its definately not kicks though I know that much......

It feels like baby is gently jumping up and down quite quickly on the spot... kinda tickley inside, and rather strange, but fun!
Kiya used to get the hiccups every day at around 7.30pm from 28 weeks ... if she randomly gets the hiccups now (which happens about once a week) she will get them around that time still!

Awwww, how cute!! They get them from gulping amniotic fluid too fast... little guts! I wonder if hiccuppy babies turn out to be easy feeders?

Hannah was hiccupy - pretty much everyday. I remember really freaking out one of Daniels friends when I was almost due - lying on the couch and every few seconds my belly would twitch!

Ugh caitlyn got them 3 or 4 times a blimming day, at first i thought they were cute, then i got sick of them pretty quickly.
Felt like a constant tapping in my ,er ,nether regions.
And, no unfortunately shes not a good eater now.
But at least now when she gets hiccups i can walk away and know that my tummys not gonna get beaten from the inside....hahaha

hahaha I remember hiccups.. they were so weird as the kicking and stuff was all in one area whereas the hiccups were the whole belly moving!
doesn't feel so great when they are engaged and the head is bouncing against your cervix!
