Hi all,

I just got out of hospital on Friday With Kidney stones. Well they don't even know if it was kidney stones could be baby blocking the tube on my left side. Anyway ever since then i have had these painful Braxton Hicks contractions. I thought they weren't mean't to hurt. It makes it even harder to sleep. Sometimes they can be quite close together and last about 1 and a half mins. Is anyone else having pain with their Braxton Hicks Contractions? Do you's think maybe he's coming soon?

i dont think braxtons are painful, just tightening, but i do feel a slight ache with mine, but maybe it is a sign that your close to labour?? or in early stages?? were you early with your first?

I've had pain with mine and brought it up with my midwife this morning, she said that it can / does happen, just not to everyone. Lucky me ! So *hugs*, I know how you're feeling - mine usually hit when I'm at work which makes it one hell of a job to focus on what I'm doing... Mind you, since you're a lot closer to due than I am, I wouldn't discount it being early labour altogether.

Thank you. Yay i'm not alone.

I was 2 weeks overdue with my first. This time they're not letting me go over my due date because of my kidney.

Hmmm I dont remember pain at all just tightening.
But I guess if other bits and bobs are a bit tender then it could cause some hurt!!

Poor thing!

Hang in there!
