I don't think I had any with Maya. If I did I didn't feel them. The closest I got was wicked stitch across my tummy when I walked too fast or did anything too active that she didn't approve of.

I don't think I had any, but it may just have been that I didn't recognise them. Some people get them much more noticeably than others

I have been getting them, and it pretty much happens every day now.
When I first started getting them I thought it was the baby sitting hard against my belly, so whenever it felt hard I would assume the baby had moved into a position where I could feel it, but I was wrong. It was just my uterus contracting! haha

I didnt have them either....well at least I think I did not. Mind you I was clueless with these things at 39 weeks I went to the hospital for a check up and I felt tightness (actually it felt like zaara was really down under kicking me.....)in my tummy for weeks and once on the monitor my midwife told me that I was having mini contractions....I will like "I am????"....he he ha ha

i've just started noticing them regularly with this pregnancy, when i was preggy with ella i don't think i ever noticed them. maybe its just because i know what contractions feel like this time round, that i am aware of them?

Do BH contractions usually come with a throbbing lower back?
I've also been getting those 'down under kicks' like Roksana described - which feel SO strange! I just thought it was bubs wiggling to get comfy. I mean, my uterus has never contracted before so I wouldn't know what on earth it felt like haha!!

LOL Jess - you could be right. My pregnancy with Maya SUCKED big time, and the labour was long and sucky too, but I walked away from teh birth with none of the nasties like stitches, piles etc. and she literally just flew out. So maybe Ella owes you a good labour and birth after such a tough pregnancy...
