I just so want this over with, i am so tired and emotional, nothing seems to be progressing, the tightenings in my groin are painless but uncomfortable, my backache is just that, achy and annoying as i know its there. (starting to get more painful though)
I just want things to hurry up and happen.
Have already had a good cry this morning, as i woke up and i wasn't in labour. .
Sorry about the winge...will keep everyone informed on how things are progressing.

im alright i just think i am having an emotional blowout as its been a very stressful week.
I am sure Rhiannon will come when she is ready, and i am ready when she wants to come.

Maybe rope your partner into a little "bring on baby" sex? I'm sure he'd be happy to oblige...
Otherwise... hang in there, we're here for you!

It is so frustrating when you are so close to the end and very uncomfortable. Sam was 9lb11oz and I was soooooo incredibly uncomfortable for the last 2 weeks.
There's plenty of remedies but I must say from experience tried
* the accupuncture stickons on my little toes - they just made me more uncomfortable cause my toes hurt
* went to Little India 4 times and burnt my mouth out - just got indigestion
* walked my butt off around the hills of my house - damn exhausting
* almost drove hubby insane wanting sex - very unsatisfying for all concerned and very uncomfortable!!!
* had hot lavender oil baths - they were good but didn't work
In the end Sam decided to come himself whilst I was sleeping finally with no intervention or prompting.
So hang in there, bub will decide and it will be so exciting when you realise that it's time! - and then a few hours after that you'll wish bub would change it's mind and stay put!

slow down relax dont be in such a hurry... once bub is born you will miss the tummy, and then the hard work really begins. maybe you could look into some breathing exercises and/or meditation to calm you down and then they can be helpful in labour too. catch up on your reading, make sure bubs clothes are all washed and put away, write a letter to friends or maybe write a letter to your baby - work on bubs web page - go to the beach and sit and watch the waves - make some meals to freeze for after the birth - get a pedicure - rent lots of girlie movies and cry.
it will happen and nothing you do will make it happen before its proper time.
take care.
