just a quick note to say my wee nephew arrived this evening, weighing in at just over 6 pound 3. Carrie went into labour naturally last night, but only went up to hospital this afternoon, her c-section was scheduled for tuesday. by the time they wheeled her off to theatre contractions were on top of each other. He's in neonates for a fwe days just cos he had some probs breathing but other than that he's all good.

My sister is calling him Issac but his adoptive parents are going to change it to Theodore and have Issac as the middle name.

That's nice that they decided to keep Issac as his middle name.

The papers are signed on day 10, until then baby stays with Carrie in hospital, she decided it would be best not to have baby with her at home after that until the 10 days are up as she would possibly get attatched to it etc, so it will probably go either to foster care or my older sister was thinking about caring for it. I think it all finally becomes legal after 1 year.

my mother adpoted out my sis when she was 16 and it takes a year for it to be all legel but i also have talked to nauthal pernets and they told me they had upto baby was 2 to think about it glad baby arrived safe and well and i hope everything goes well for the adoption
