I had severe PUPPP when I was 35 weeks or so, and it drove me batty! Some things I found that helped:

Cold flannels
Frozen veges covered in a towel
Aloe vera gel
Paraderm Plus (this stuff ROCKS!)
Not scratching, this makes it worse

There are some other suggestions here which might help.

Linelle - PUPPP is the most awful thing.. it's intense itching during pregnancy, usually starting on the stomach, then spreading to the arms, legs, chest. It only affects pregnant women and seems to be hormone related. I got it so bad in my last trimester that I couldn't sleep at night, I spent most of the time in tears scratching at my stomach and howling at anyone who would listen!

The only proper cure is giving birth, unfortunately - but those things I mentioned up there helped, at least for me.
