yeah it sounds a bit like that but Im in my second trimester now and never got it any earlier.
Like a strong metal taste or like when you get a hangover, (well used to) lol and the next day if you would have that horrible taste in your mouth and when you ate something it would do the same. Weird!!
Am I weird??? Maybe its a lack of something. I dunno

Oh yeah, I remember that metallic taste - yuck! That was one of the first signs I had that I was pregnant, and it lasted through until my morning sickness disappeared at about 12 weeks.

i wouldnt describe the taste i had as metallic but i would compare it to the hangover taste! it was horrible, made morning sickness worse...ewww yuck!.... it was a constant... mine went away (or improved) at 13-14 weeks. hope that yours doesnt last long... i totally sympathise with you... HUGS!....

I had it too....metallic was the closest description I could think of....I'd noticed it...didn't know what it was at first then worked out it had to be tha metallic taste people talk about...
I found I got it after drinking tea mainly. It seems to have faded lots now thank goodness!! it is a normal sign of pregnancy though. Some just get it more than others.
