Clare I am sure you will get your little girl one day, I understand the sadness tho coz i was still a little sad when Xanda was born because inside there was a little part of me that was hoping he was going to be a girl, I love him to pieces tho and wouldn't change him for the world.
Hi Clare - well i really wanted a girl as i so couldnt imagine myself the mother of a boy. I used to think boys were loud and messy and ratbags which they are but also so much fun. Anyway had the scan at 20 weeks and found out was having twins then had a scan with my specialist (sp?) 2 weeks later and couldnt miss the fact that there was 2 willies lol. So that took abit to get my head round and felt alittle ripped off at the time that i wasnt having boy/girl twins. But now they are here like someone else said wouldnt change it for the world. They are so much fun and we all love to play rough and tumble and they are such mummas boys that i get heaps and heaps of kisses and cuddles

Congratulations Claire. I comepltely understand about the girl thing. I was a little concerned that i would e disappointed if B2 was a boy as I not so secretly wanted a girl, but when i saw him, i honestly forgot all about it.
Love the name too. We considered Josh but already have one either side of the family.
Just wanted to let you know that I am over the moon about my baby Josh I had a dream about him last night, and now I'm so happy he's a boy!! Thanks everyone for helping me through the initial little bit of sadness.

You could never be fat and whingey! But yes I would really rather come home...will have to figure that all out soon, but I'm gonna wait until my first scan (just before we come over for the wedding). Maybe I can convince Ben that sooner is better than later - but then it's all a matter on money!
You will have to help me check out the facilities in NZ when we are back. Is the baby shower still on?
Can't wait to see you. Oh and I have to be a bit careful about my work emails as the boss reads them off the server at night! So this is quite a good way to communicate.
